As owner of Button and Bride I have a love of Couture fashions and being surrounded by beautiful fabrics and dresses. I have a Fashion degree and years of experience sewing in the tailoring and bridal industry.
My love of sewing and design is inherited from my grandmother, who was a fabric cutter and seamstress. She collected buttons, fabric, broaches and patterns and now I treasure them all, along with her wedding dress which she made herself.
Working within the Bridal Industry brings together a lot of my loves and I thoroughly enjoy my work.
I decided to start Button and Bride with the aim of providing an exceptional alterations service in a beautiful studio space. This enables my clients to have the Bridal fitting experience with family and friends even if they have not purchased from a bridal boutique.
